• Provides direct patient care in the Gynecologic Oncology Center in support of general gynecology services (benign services, prevention and screening, colposcopy) and in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team by providing a liaison for consultation, clinical practice, education, and follow-up.
• Performs physical assessments and advanced nursing practice procedures including pelvic exams, pap smears, colposcopy, and other medical diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, under the direction of the attending physician.
• Orders routine tests, provides emergency triage, and renders emergency medical service pending the arrival of a physician.

• Education:
1. Master's Degree in Nursing. May be waived for applicants who obtained recognition as an Advanced Practice Nurse from the Texas State Board of Nursing prior to 1/1/2007.
• EXPERIENCE
1. Required: Three (3) years clinical experience.
2. Preferred: Two (2) years in an Advanced Practice Role. Gynecology experience.
