• Monday – Friday; Days
• Major responsibilities include patient assessment, triage, and coordination of medical care and documentation of care. Functions in an expanded role, collaborating with the interdisciplinary team including physicians, nurses, social workers, dietitians, clergy, etc. to provide for assessment and therapeutic management of patient/family needs. Patients with a medical diagnosis of cancer receiving treatments of surgery, radiotherapy, chemotherapy and biotherapy, as well as therapies for concomitant illnesses/symptoms are served.
• Education:
2. Master's Degree in Nursing. May be waived for applicants who obtained recognition as an Advanced Practice Nurse from the Texas State Board of Nursing prior to 1/1/2007.
