As the proposal Technical writer for this growing company, you will be tasked with creating and owning the proposal process from inception to final delivery for government and private sector organizations. You will work with appropriate business development, sales, program management, and financial personnel to develop plans and schedules for proposal efforts that implement established practices and address specific RFP requirements. Serve as an active member of the business development team by assisting management to identify new business, conduct competitive analyses, and develop winning strategies. Develop/tailor/implement standard proposal templates that reflect customer requirements and/or customer established practices. Will write, present, and deliver responses to Government RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, and Task Order proposal requests.

BA in English, Journalism, Communications or any combination of academic education, professional training or work experience required.

Minimum 5 years of progressive experience writing and editing complex proposals.

Ability to work independently and work as a member of a team.

Non-traditional hours as necessary.

Must be knowledgeable of the federal proposal process and be extremely hands-on in the development of solution frameworks as well as proposal text and graphics concepts.

Must be familiar with the DoD procurement process.

Extensive experience researching and authoring the management, staffing, quality control and past performance sections of proposals.

Proficient in Microsoft office.
