Mountainview Specialty Care Center RN-Director of Education About the Opportunity The Director of Education provides educational and learning opportunities within a supportive environment that will assist clinical personnel in gaining knowledge, skills and appropriate behaviors necessary to perform assigned duties safely and competently. Coordinates learning experiences that support quality services consistent with standards and practice guidelines of the facility. Monitors the activities of all personnel to provide quality services that comply with State, Federal, and corporate standards. Essential Functions (summary): Understands facility standards and practice guidelines as well as state and federal regulations. Develops and directs orientation programs for all personnel in accordance with established standards and practice guidelines. Maintains accurate, complete and current records of educational programs and personnel participation. . Experience: BS in Nursing
RN (Current License)
LTC education experience
BLS certification required
Current Nurse Aide instructior license
Previous experience in Adult Education preferred;
Ideal candidate must be a skilled communicator, director and motivator. Able to organize and prioritize many tasks effectively.
