Territory Sales Manager – East Coast - (US-CT-Milford - 06461)

Job Responsibilities:
1) Meet or exceed annual sales quota (as outlined in compensation agreement) through a combination of direct and indirect sales through the dealer program
2) Perform product demonstrations via face-to-face presentations and/or web-based presentations, depending on the size and scope of the opportunity and the location of the prospective client
3) Increase individual pipelines through individual marketing activities including cold calling, developing a dealer/referral network and attending tradeshows
4) Work with internal and potentially external (dealers, partners, etc.) resources to generate solutions as well as proposals for prospective clients
5) Present final proposed solutions to prospective clients with the ability to convey technical aspects of the solution and competitive strengths of the proposed solution
6) Take detailed notes about the results of prospecting and sales calls as well as meetings and enter those notes into provided contact management software
7) Maintain a high level of communication with assigned regional sales managers
Job Requirements:
1) Bachelor’s degree
2) 10 years of successful direct sales experience with minimum 5 years in outside sales
3) Experience in selling digital voice loggers, call center solutions or telecommunication equipment (PBX, ACD, Predictive Dialers, etc.)
4) Working knowledge of contact management software (Goldmine, ACT, etc.) a plus
5) Knowledge of PowerPoint and Visio and understanding of PBX and network diagrams a plus Proven track history of meeting/exceeding quota
6) Understanding of needs based/consultative-selling model
7) Excellent teamwork skills
8) Superb interpersonal and presentation skills
9) Good organizational and time management skills
10) Excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills
11) Desire to excel in a competitive environment
12) Interest in working in a dynamic and rapidly changing/growing environment
13) Willingness to travel – up to 35% (not including local/day visits with customers and prospects)
