Buffalo – NEPA Project Manager

Job Summary: Ecology and Environment, Inc. is a fully integrated environmental consulting firm whose underlying philosophy is its worldwide commitment to supporting sustainable development through responsible environmental stewardship. We are seeking a mid/senior level project manager to work in our Corporate Headquarters located in Buffalo, NY.

Responsibilities:
• Interact with clients and agency representatives;
• Lead and mentor less experienced staff;
• Handle multiple deadlines and produce high-quality work under tight schedules; and
• Contribute to business development and proposals.

Requirements:
• A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in environmental studies, urban or land use planning, or related discipline;
• 5-10 years of experience in NEPA/SEQR impact analysis, public outreach, project permitting, and agency consultation;
• Ability to travel; and
• Enthusiastic self-starter with excellent communication and technical writing skills.
