Seeking a motivated self starter who is interested in working independently or with a small team to develop corporate database-driven web applications using Microsoft SQL Server. Work includes understanding backend server processes and modifying existing stored procedures and batch processes to improve data quality and business operations.

Maintain and upgrade existing web applications for internal users. Design new and modified database schemas, including database tuning and writing stored procedures with advanced business logic and views for security implementation and reporting. Ability to assist with migrating applications written in classic ASP to ASP.Net 2.0 in C#.

Evaluate and implement updates to existing databases and business logic through use of SQL Server 2005 managed code as well as new analysis and business intelligence capabilities.

Skills:
At least 2 years of database development with experience working on corporate intranets, delivering high quality and efficient business applications. Familiar with database architectures and data exchange technologies. Experience with data warehouses, data mining, and OLAP databases preferred. Prior experience with CRM and ERP systems is desired. Ability to define data architectures and database structures is required.

Familiarity with all aspects of the application development lifecycle, including pre-release testing, source control, versioning and regression testing.
