We are looking for a hands-on Systems Administrator for our client based in Midtown Manhattan. This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to work for a company that makes a difference and has a high profile in the WorldWide development community!

This role offers an excellent opportunity to take charge of a rapidly growing production environment and to work with a small but growing team of talented developers as they gear up to launch their products and services.

Responsibilities:
* Deployment and maintenance of all clients'' web assets
* Primary contact for systems requirements for both the US and International teams
* Provide top level support for production servers
* Ensure that production environment is compliant with e-commerce compliances like PCI-DSS

Requirements:
* Deployment experience and expertise with Linux-based web servers
* Significant Linux systems administration experience
* SQL database experience, specifically MySQL and Postgres
* Deep Apache knowledge (clusters, proxying, load balancing, SSL)
* Security know-how
* Familiarity with cryptography tools (e.g. secure shell, OpenSSL, IPSec)
* Experience maintaining standard internet services such as DNS, DHCP, Samba, mail (e.g. Postfix, sendmail)
