Performs most phases of blood collections and donor care according to local operating procedures, BSDs and the Code of Federal Regulations to ensure safe product and donor experience.

Assembles and maintains supplies and equipment to ensure a state of readiness.

Functions with team effort to ensure smooth and efficient blood collection process.

Maintains positive public relations to promote a professional image of the ARCBS at all times.

Qualifications:

•High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant/Phlebotomy training preferred
•Customer service experience preferred
•Professional and friendly demeanor
•Effective communication and public relations skills
•Ability to adapt to long, irregular hours and frequent schedule changes
•Good manual dexterity
•Good driving record as there may be periodic assignments as driver
