Job Descriptions:
Preform veinipunctures, EKGs, Urinalysis, PPDs, and Capillary sticks.
Provide patient education.
Contribute to general office responsibilities as needed.
Answer incoming calls on a multi-line telephone system.
Maintain daily patient scheduling.
Assist with new patient visits and follow-ups.
Verify insurance and co-pay information.
Requirements:
Working knowledge and use of Autoclave and Centrifuge
Basic knowledge and use of Medi-soft (billing and coding software)
Qualifications:
Clinical skills include:- EKGs venipuncture, injections, dosage and calculations, pharmacology, medication administration, urinalysis, culture techniques, assisting in minor surgeries and examinations.
