Summary:
The Business Development Representative (BDR) directly generates revenue by selling products and services through direct, face-to-face contact and self generated leads. Responsibilities:
The successful BDR will solicit and prospect merchants to use Chase Paymentech Solutions merchant processing services, focusing on merchants that process up to up to $25MM in annual bankcard sales processing volume per year. As a BDR, you will meet assigned sales objectives and targets, as well as participate in sales meetings, trade shows and training sessions. You will be responsible for developing your own referral channels either through cold calling, establishing referral relationships or building networking groups. A key component to your success will be keeping informed of product and industry changes as well as attending training seminars for relative product enhancements. In addition, you will give sales presentations and complete required sales documentation and administrative duties.
Qualifications:
• 1-3 years outside sales or business development experience.
• Successful track record selling to businesses by way of cold calling, networking and self lead generation.
• Ability to canvass extensively in assigned territory.
• Ideal candidate will have a proven track record of exceeding quota, strong customer facing skills and ability to communicate effectively to a wide range of audiences.
• Experienced PC skills required to successfully track quota, source leads and administer reports.
• Reliable car needed for all locations except Manhattan and other major cities with public transportation.
• Payment processing industry experience is desired.
• High School Diploma or GED required and Bachelors Degree a plus.
