The Financial Audit Consultant plans and executes audit projects globally, based upon risk, as part of a culturally diverse team. Activities include assessing business risks, supervising all aspects of assigned audit projects, executing audit scope activities, and assessing whether internal controls are adequate in accordance with risk/materiality factors. This includes assessing compliance with policies and external regulatory requirements, reviewing audit project documentation, and communicating results to management.

Principal Accountabilities:

80% Assess risk and plan and execute audit projects as assigned. Activities include risk assessment, project planning/management, process analysis, documentation, testing and reporting as well as workshop facilitation.

10% Knowledge transfer and mentoring within Corporate Audit.

10% Work on Corporate and/or Audit strategic initiatives.

*Audit experience is not required.

Skills:
Required:

Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance

Minimum of 7 years professional business experience.

Ability to travel globally up to 40%.

Demonstrated ability to quickly conceptualize and understand the strategy, business model and supporting processes of a food or commodity business.

Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to internal control.

Demonstrated ability to adapt to and assume various roles within a team environment.

Demonstrates cultural awareness and appreciation.

Demonstrated intellectual curiosity, desire to learn, discover and seek opportunities for improvement.
