Administrator, Product Development - (US-NY-NYC )

The Administrator will work in partnership with the Global Skincare Product Development team on various project support aspects of the product development process to ensure thorough execution of the categories strategies.

Assist in preliminary literature and competitive research for product presentations, to assist Skin Care Department in identifying visual aids. Assist department in making presentation boards.
Obtain research for new product ideas (visual and literal).
Purchase and evaluate competitive products. Prepare written assessments. Integrate relevant info into bi-monthly Product Alerts and Competitive Reviews.
Track and tally internal test results.
Log in, coordinate and disperse lead product samples with Global Marketing.
Maintain and upkeep of batch room product library (competitive and submissions).
Track and communicate ingredient label releases.
Organize files / correspondence for skin care programs. File / organize all Consumer Testing results and associated Executive Summaries.
Procure and organize all Public Relations, Education, Marketing Bulletins and Copy for each development program.
Maintain accurate process charts.
Stay abreast of competitive product launches and new technologies through daily, monthly magazine subscriptions and industry journals.


Skills:
Position requires minimum 2 years related experience, preferred Product Development experience.
Excellent organization, communication and follow-through skills.
Multi-functional, flexible to handle ever changing priorities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Applications: Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
