We seek a decisive professional to join us at our global headquarters in Silver Spring. As our Applications Specialist, you will support the Director of Franchise Sales by processing all US applications for those seeking to buy franchises of our hotel brands. In this Full-time role, you will be key to ensuring new franchises do not over-saturate any area of the market with a negative impact on the business of existing clients.

Duties include ensuring compliance with Federal Trade Commission laws and Sarbanes/Oxley regulations, plus managing applications and related information in our database system. In support of our Impact Policy, you will create maps to demonstrate location and business relationships between existing and proposed franchises within specific regions. Other responsibilities include communication terms to our Contracts group, composing letters for franchisees, generating codes for pre-application inspections, reporting inspection results and performing other duties are needed.


Skills:
•Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing or another related field of study
•Proficiency with MS Word, Excel and Outlook
•Ability to learn quickly and thrive under pressure
•Exceptional communication, conflict management, customer service, organizational, problem-solving and typing skills
•Sense of urgency
•Experience in a multitasking office environment is a plus
