Click Here to Apply OnlineWorks closely with Director to manage and develop al aspects of the marketing and business plan in support of the Blue Line Skincare for Asia Region. Develops and implements new launches based upon strategic direction for category and region. Conducts category reviews, sku management, pricing/cost of goods analyses. Partners with all support groups and assists during key cyclical activities such as roundtables, objectives and strategies, creative turnovers, and management presentations.
Accountabilities:
1.Prepares New Product Briefs, Creative Turnovers, Forecast Offering and Marketing Bulletins by writing necessary concept statements and obtaining and organizing information such as cost, volume estimates, cost of goods targets, and competitive information.
2.Acts as primary liaison with the key Asian markets holding semi-monthly conference calls to understand the marketplace dynamics and incorporate into regional/global strategy.
3.Develops category reviews for the pertinent segments of business which involves through research on global regional market trends, competition, consumer dynamics and requires analyses, identification of opportunities and strategic recommendations.
4.Responsible for ensuring timetable dates are met in coordination with Marketing Services. Interacts with Managers, Directors and executive Directors of other cross-functional teams (Product Development, Packaging, GSR, Creative, Merchandising, Education, Legal, PR) to ensure smooth and timely development of new programs.
5.Work with Cost Accounting, GSR and Packaging groups to ensure that feasibilities and preliminary costs are accurate and on-time to supply the markets.
6.Develops analyses for strategy meetings, annual sales meeting, fact books, as well as on an as-needed basis.
7.Acts as liaison to the creative team, managing Creative Briefing Process, acting as category expert on collateral and CPMS system
Skills:
-College Degree preferred 3+ years related experience
-Excellent communication skills-both written and verbal
-Strong interpersonal skills
-Strong analytical capabilities
-Computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint
-Knowledge of at least on Asian language a plus- Japanese preferable; Korean optional
