JOB SUMMARY
Provides excellent customer service to internal and external constituents. Manages a high volume of patient cases in a highly skilled and confidential manner. Provides service coordination and resource information for patients in the Division. Maintains effective communication with community volunteers and staff. Provides timely follow up and maintains accurate records on all patient service case files. Implements CRM principles as standard business practice.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establishes ownership of calls and service requests for patient service programs.
- Provides assistance to patients by providing community resources in addition to ACS programs and services.
- Provides first and secondary intake on patient records as needed.
- Coordinates fulfillment of patient service programs by initiating service delivery at the community level.
- Maintains regular communication with community volunteer coordinators and partnership facilities and cancer control staff specialists in regions as well as PSC Liaisons.
- Administers indirect financial aid as appropriate.
- Meets NCIC quality standards with emphasis on call ownership and customer service.
- Ensures complete data capture as standard procedures for all constituents.
- Adheres to Patient Service Center operational guidelines and quality standards.
- Ensures confidentiality for all patient files.
- Undertakes related duties as assigned.

- Exhibits utilization of analytical decision-making skills in daily work efforts.
- Displays high level of individual accountability in delivery of personal and organizational commitments.
- Demonstrates initiative by proactively and assertively addressing position responsibilities.

Skills:
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree or equivalent with two years progressively responsible and proven customer service and social service experience. Advanced knowledge of social service issues, health care systems, community organization and customer relations. Must be comfortable with extensive telephone contact and crisis intervention. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and computer skills with Microsoft Windows Operating. Fluency in Spanish a must.
