Responsibilities: Teach undergraduate and graduate level courses and supervise public school practica in a Physical Education NCATE standards based program. Courses require integration of theory with practice and involve supervision of public school practica. The most desirable applicant will have a strong background in physical education, instructional strategies K-12, curriculum development, measurement and evaluation, organization and administration, elementary school physical education, and technique and theory of individual and team activities.

Qualifications: Teaching experience in a public school and/or an institution in higher education required. Completion of doctorate in Physical Education Teacher Education or a related field, or enrollment in a doctoral program with significant progress towards degree completion required. Applicants with significant teaching experiences with K-12 children will be given preference in hiring.
