Our client located at Bangalore is having an urgent opening for the position of Senior Software Engineer - RAID. Remuneration will be excellent for the suitable candidate.

Duties and Key Responsibilities

1. Design and development of new features, products and sustaining for the RAID product.
2. Essential Functions:
3. Participate in any/all phases of the product development cycle: from product definition and design, through implementation, debugging, testing, documentation and support of RAID software for the Data ONTAP operating system.
4. Resolve defects and issues found by customers or through internal development and QA testing.
5. Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and be willing to take on any engineering tasks that contribute to the progress towards the goals of the team and the company.
6. Participate in the design of new architectures and future direction of RAID products

Job Requirement:

1. The ideal candidate must have minimum 9+ years of experience with a strong background in operating system internals.
2. Demonstrated proficiency in C and excellent debugging skills required.
3. Must have full commitment to sound software engineering practices and a passion for quality.
4. Strong experience with RAID and/or Storage, distributed systems, multi-processing / multi-tasking architectures is assumed.
5. File Systems and/or NAS/SAN product development experience is a plus.
