Key objectives/responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Valuations the role will be responsible for the development of the Valuation service in the office.
Specifically the role will involve:
Client
Undertake such valuations as are allocated by seniors in an accurate and professional manner.
Adhere to all deadlines set for the completion of work.
Respond quickly to client enquiries.
Maintain confidentiality in respect of all work undertaken by the Department and to be aware of what is likely to be sensitive information.
Understand and be proficient in the use of all the office technology employed in undertaking valuation.
Acquire and build a sound knowledge of commercial property markets and legal case law.
General
Maintain neat, tidy and orderly file records of valuations, including computer files at all times.
Be capable in the preparation reports.
Fully understand office records and procedures and be able to make good use of all the available information contained therein.
Foster the professional image of Our Client at all times.
Take a close interest in the property press and the national press with a view to building up a wide perspective of the property market and related activities.
Liaise with members of other departments and to get to know the individuals and their markets both for the purpose of obtaining information in support of valuations and also to keep an eye on cross selling of business.
Candidate profile:
MRICS qualified
Preferably bi-lingual but not essential
The capacity for accuracy, attention to detail and an orderly approach to work and numeracy.
The ability to communicate facts clearly and in writing and assist with producing reports.
Demonstrable sales and negotiation skills
An organised individual with the willingness and ability to work as part of a team.
Previous experience in the use of Circle Valuation Software and German language skills preferable but not essential
