Mechanical Engineer within the New Product Development group to work through analysis and design changes for existing products, totally dedicated to the Life Cycle Engineering function. Position is a technical resource for engineering and a mid-level design / engineer position. Performs new product development activities including design, research, testing, redesign, etc. to bring products from idea to production. Works as a member of a multi functional team under the direct supervision of a lead engineer or project manager.

Essential Functions:
a) Applies advanced knowledge engineering methods in concept designs for developing new products.
b) Develops CAD drawings for concept and detailed development or continuous improvements of product designs.
c) Evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering practices
d) Researches product concepts for cost effective design and development.
e) Designs fixtures, tools, and procedures for development of new product designs.

Education or Formal Training:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering, industrial design or technically related field with 5+ years experience.
- An Associates Degree in CAD related technology and industry experience in CAD design.
Experience:
5+ years with Bachelor’s Degree.
8+ years CAD experience in designing mechanical parts.
8+ years of relevant experience with an Associates Degree or without degree

Medical Device Experience Preferred but not required.
