Marinello Schools of Beauty is a leader in the beauty education industry, focusing on the high growth sector of private, postsecondary education, with 25 campus locations in California and Nevada. We are currently expanding and have an immediate opening for an enterprising, highly motivated, results-oriented HUMAN RESOURCES ADMIN. ASST./COORDINATOR at our Corporate Office in Whittier, CA.

As a member of the HR Team, the Admin. Asst./Coordinator will have a variety of responsibilities including recruitment assistance, employment verification, new hire orientation, generating correspondence and tracking of LOA’s/FMLA/PDL/performance evaluations/benefits enrollment, personnel file maintenance and other special duties as assigned.


Skills:
Candidates must have a minimum of two years of related experience in Human Resources. College graduates with HR emphasis and some work-related experience/internship will be considered. Requires excellent oral and written communication skills, advanced computer skills (Word and Excel) and excellent customer service skills. The Human Resource Department is responsible for all campus locations, requiring applicants with the ability to multi-task and work independently with good organizational skills. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. College degree preferred, but not required.
