DIRECTOR OF INTERNET REVENUES, AND SALES TAX
CONFIDENTIAL Telecom Company in Denver is growing in the VoIP marketplace. We are looking for a Director of Internet Revenues and Sales Tax. You would have the opportunity to work with a people caring, on the edge, exciting company that offers a competitive benefit package and a great location..
This position will be responsible for revenue accounting, sales and use tax filing, use tax exemption certificates management, related state and city telecom fees and reports. Additional responsibilities include settlement of credit card sales, revenues, charge backs and fees ensuring compliance PCI standards and GAAP. Manage the commission process for VARs and Account Managers. Responsible for revenue based activity analysis and recommendations to ensure cost effective processing. Responsible for related systems uploads and maintenance.
Minimum Knowledge and Skills ( Including required minimum education and experience):

• College level Accounting Education
•1 – 5 years experience
• Familiarity with credit card processing,
• Revenue recognition SAB104, SOP 97-2 EIFT0021
• In depth knowledge of Sales and use taxes
• Experience with telecommunication regulatory fees and exemptions
• Proficiency with MS Office
• Effective written and verbal interpersonal communication skills
• Ability and desire to learn and teach
• Ability to work both independently as well as on teams
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment
• Organizational and multi-tasking skills

Desirable Knowledge and Skills (Including preferred education and experience):
• 3-5 years experience in a corporate accounting environment, including familiarity with accounting principals, financial statement preparation and analysis, bank reconciliations, telecom regulations and sales tax regulations.
• 3-5 years experience in billing and revenue recognition.
• 3-5 years experience with credit card compliance.
• Microsoft Dynamics (Great Plains) experience
• Organized and detailed with positive attitude in fast paced environment
