Our client is one of the eastern seaboard’s largest contractors. They provide architectural design, engineering, permitting and construction services under one roof. The company is employee-owned and has built more than 3000 buildings.Responsibilities

Job Responsibilities:
1) Plan and conduct project tasks
2) Provide engineering services in the form of conceptual layout review
3) Manage detailed engineering calculations for project designs, surface/underground mine infrastructure and development projects
4) Create plans, designs and calculations using engineering formulas
5) Design concrete and steel buildings including foundations
6) Liaise with clients, agencies and subcontractors
7) Review plans and prepare technical specifications
8) Compute, represent characteristics and dimensions of mechanical parts and enclosures
9) Observe project action on-site

Job Requirements:
1) BS in Civil Engineering
2) Engineering Intern (EI) certification
3) PE license preferred
4) Knowledge of and experience in working with local municipalities (Carolina markets)
5) Expertise in AutoCAD
