Job Descriptions:
Responsible for answering phones, greeting and seating patients, taking height and weight, scheduling and confirming appointments using the Next Generation scheduling program, calling in medications, taking messages for the doctors and referral coordinator, faxing pre-op orders and other documents, retrieving lab results from the computer database, calling patients back with lab results, filing patient charts, filling out lab requisition forms using LabCorp’s and Quest’s computer program, preparing and maintaining exam rooms, setting up for Pap smears, assisting the Doctor with Pap smears, cervical biopsies and IUD implantation, administering IM injections, performing EKGs, venipunctures, capillary punctures, in-office PT/INR and Glucose tests and also in-office UAs.
