Our client is a healthcare system located in a very desirable area in Connecticut and is seeking a Nurse Educator for the OR (Operating Room) for an immediate direct-hire opportunity. This is a fairly visible role that has an impact on the new hire program throughout the organization. The right candidate must be a self-starter and be able to work independently. We are seeking a Registered Nurse with at least 4 years experience in a clinical training practice along with the following skill set: - Must be able to demonstrate effective teaching strategies - OR/ER/ICU experience highly desirable - Background in developing educational plans, and ability to monitor competencies - Experience with Corrective Action reporting - The ideal background would also include working in Policy and Procedure, Infection Control Standards - Ability to train/precept new hire staff

Experience:
A BSN and prior teaching experience in a hospital setting (preferably the OR) is required.
