Behavior Management for Adults & Children Service (BMAC) is a program developed to meet a community need for skilled behavior management services. Many children and adults, with or without cognitive impairments have developed behaviors that interfere with their education, social integration or productive work. Behavior Rehabilitation Specialists provide 1:1 instruction to teach these individuals to encourage positive social behaviors or functional skills. As a Behavior Rehabilitation Specialist for Rehab Without Walls® BMAC, you will:

*Abide by and demonstrates the company Mission - Vision - Values through both behavior and job
performance on a day-to-day basis.

*Implement intervention protocols established by Behavior Analyst to assist the person served in
achieving the goals established by their education or care system. Collect behavior and function data on
the person receiving services.

*Ensure safety, support and appropriate training for person receiving services while fostering independent
functioning.

*Teach independent functioning and pro-social behavior by modeling appropriate social and professional
behavior. Encourage positive communication with others.

*Serve as a Mandated Reporter of suspicion of neglect or abuse. Notify the appropriate State Protective
Service (Child or Adult) as appropriate.

*Implement community integration activities under the direction of the assigned Behavior Analyst to assist
the person receiving services with a variety of needs during activities. Assist the person receiving
services in learning safe community behavior and community skills.

*Report progress to the Behavior Analyst, IEP Manager and/or Case Worker and family members as
appropriate.

*Observe, document and report changes in the condition of the person served to the Behavior
Analyst/designee, teacher and other education or service team members as appropriate.

*Provide intervention progress and status documentation in accordance with BMAC protocols.

*Participate in the team process; provide input and effective intervention strategies. Attend team and
educational meetings.

*Use appropriate methods and tools in all teaching and training activities, including those associated with
transitioning to new environments or from program support

Experience: Qualifications

*High School Diploma or the equivalent

*A minimum of six months prior work/volunteer experience providing individual instructions, preferably in a healthcare environment generally required

*Effective communications skills
