MARKETING MANAGER ~ Law Firm

NEW YORK, NY

We are currently seeking a talented, and experienced Marketing Manager. This position will require attention to detail, great organizational, analytical skills, ability to work independently and as a member of a team, creativity and an in-depth understanding of the legal market.


The manager will lead the marketing program of a firm-wide practice and work with them to develop and implement marketing plans, to generate business leads, expand existing client matters and drive cross-selling and new business development.

- Work to develop and implement marketing plans and strategies for attorneys/groups.

- Work collaboratively with all other marketing team members to achieve the firm's marketing and business development objectives.

- Identify opportunities to increase practice group and individual attorney visibility and to expand the client base both domestically and internationally.

- Proactively seek opportunities for RFPs, presentations, pitches, marketing materials, seminars, appropriate affiliations, events and other targeted methods that drive new business development and cross-selling.

- Work closely with other offices, including international offices, to ensure effective management of marketing and business development initiatives.

- Manage the production of all internal and external communications

- Manage and participate in practice group meetings. Develop agendas, present reports and supervise for follow up.

- Plan and execute firm wide events for the division

- Identify and secure public speaking engagements and sponsorships.

- Develop and implement client team initiatives to facilitate the collaboration of relationship management and business development efforts for key firm clients.

- Work with business intelligence tools to analyze potential growth opportunities with current and targeted clients. Develop strategies based upon industry and market trends.


ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

* 8-10 years of progressive Marketing management experience.

* 5+ years spent in a Marketing role at a law firm

* 3-5 years of experience managing and developing staff.

* Strong proficiency in MS Office with advanced skills in Microsoft Word, along with InterAction, Sharepoint, Powerpoint, Excel skills required.


Compensation

* Base Salary- $100,000 - $110,000
