We are looking for a full-time Procurement Assistant to join our rapidly growing team located in the Lake Mary area. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting the procurement process. This position will have immediate impact on the continued successful operations of this global business.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Assist with analyzing sales and market trends to forecast purchasing needs, KPI’s for stock, markdowns, margin and return on space.
•Assist with developing a calendar for management planning and inventory control
•Assist in negotiations with suppliers on pricing, quality and service. On-going administration of supplier contracts, agreements and build long term relationships
•Maintain inventory to ensure optimum stock levels
•Monitor shipments to ensure that products come in on time as ordered
•Assist with addressing and resolving issues regarding defective or poor quality goods with vendors providing full visibility to staff members
•Assist with the execution of purchase orders to ensure timely product availability
•Assist with the development, maintenance and distribution of metric reports to management
•Ability to source samples from different suppliers to verify quality and to test new products
•Create, implement and maintain the tracking of critical orders
•Assist with monitoring and elimination of Dead Stock inventory and use timely RMA Management to avoid the build-up of Dead Stock space


FINANCE:

•Assist with developing forecasts for financial trends using On-going control of invoices to resolve supplier price differences in a timely manner
•Assist with maintaining cost management and budget of inventory in Distribution Centre
•Assist with analyzing price differences from global suppliers to ensure best margins on an on-going basis
•Enter PO into database and assist AP with PO discrepancies

REQUIREMENTS:
•1 year of Purchasing Experience
•1 year of Inventory Control
•General interest in procurement and global businesses
•Excellent written and verbal communication and negotiation skills
•Strong analytical and problem solving skills
•Motivational skills – the power to motivate self and others
•Intermediate –advance Excel knowledge required
•1 year experience in QuickBooks
•Entrepreneurial-Self Driven
•4 Year Degree
