Job Description: Saddle River Day School, a K-12 Independent School, is seeking a Client Systems Support Specialist to provide timely, considerate support to faculty staff and students in their use of digital resources. She or he will configure, update and maintain school-owned computers, printers, peripherals and classroom Audio-Visual technology. This person must be able to communicate effectively (written and spoken) and work cooperatively with diverse groups, especially young children and their parents, as well as administration and staff.

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree or it's equivalent

Additional Qualifications: Working knowledge and demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems in Windows XP, Linux and Mac OS X in an Active Directory (2003) environment. Working knowledge and ability to troubleshoot computer networks involving client computers, servers and printers. Working knowledge and demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems with audio-visual systems. Experience in supporting a large installed base (>100) of computers, including both desktop and portable systems. Ability to support faculty for integrating technology into the classroom. Commitment to excellence in teaching and the education of children.

Preferred Qualifications: At least three years of experience supporting computer systems preferred; experience with such in a K-12 educational environment is a plus. Experience in a helpdesk-style environment a plus.
