Merchandiser / Assembler

This position is responsible for providing in-store assembly and merchandising services to various retail stores in the area. Items to be assembled include Bikes, RTA Furniture and Gas Grills.

Primary Job Responsibilities:
• Completes service calls for specified vendor and/or departments within several assigned retail stores.
• Performs assembly for customers. Completes assignments as agreed and assures customer is completely satisfied.
• Understands and maintains vendor plan-o-grams.
• Replaces and maintains vendor POP as needed.
• Completes vendor specific resets as required.
• Performs assembly for vender displays.
• Provides continuous, courteous and professional customer service to vendors, store personnel, and store customers.
• Maintains good work habits and arrives at appointments punctually.
• Works independently to meet deadlines and achieve results.
• Performs other related duties as required.

Position Requirements:
• 1-2 years experience building ready-to-assemble (RTA) furniture
• Must have access to email
• Ability to work independently to meet deadlines and achieve results
• Must have reliable transportation
• Must have valid driver's license
• 1-2 years experience in a retail environment

This position will provide assembly and merchandising services in the GARDEN CITY area.

$10-$12.00 per hr.
Approx 24 hrs/wk
