Director of Professional Services - (US-NY-Elmsford - 10523) Minimum Education: Bachelors Job Type: Full Time Email this job to yourself or to a friend Click Here to Apply Online Director of Professional Services and Support Summary The Director of Professional Services and Support reports directly to the EVP of Network Services, and is responsible to provide vision, leadership, planning and implementation for the support of all network services for all existing and potential clients. Scope of Responsibility: The Director provides strategy for the management of the support services organization. He or she leads the support team, including technical services professionals, engineers and managers to provide outstanding and timely customer service to all new and existing clients. This position serves as primary liaison between the resources of the company and the customer. Success in this position is measured by overall customer satisfaction. In addition, the director must communicate effectively with all levels of the company, clients, vendors, and others regarding the planning, implementation, and maintenance of a premier support services team. The director provides leadership to and directs employees in the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of an excellent support services organization. Essential Functions • Provides leadership for planning company’s support services organization.• Advises the EVP and VP regarding best practices in support services and maintaining service levels to customers. • Develops, implement, and support the professional services organization in its strategy.• Develops, recommends, and administers information technology best practices, policies and procedures to enhance support and support systems • Facilitates development of strategic alliances with organizations to leverage their technology resources • Plan and manage the staff development and training • Establishes performance standards for the support organization• Reviews proposals for changes to existing systems submitted by Clients or, management and implements new processes where appropriate.Constantly re-evaluates processes for improvement and increased effectiveness. • Must have proven track record in similar role with firm of decent size and scale - $ 25m or more in revenues • Commands respect of his team • Has complete control over his business – 5 plus years of experience in running a PS organization • Understands how to lead, organize, manage, & grow a professional services organization • Knows how to actively manage and track Utilization and other key business metrics • Knows how to engage & manage subcontractors • Strong organizational and communication skills • Proven leader The statements contained herein describe the scope of the responsibility and essential functions of this position, but should not be considered to be an all-inclusive listing of work requirements.
