- Execute HR strategic goals and department direction
- Support client groups so we are enabling our business to hit profitable top-line growth
- Provide HR expertise to support strategic business transformation
Service client groups’ business needs, anticipate HR challenges and work with management to proactively determine solutions - Ensure clear performance expectations and accountability within client groups
Support strategic organizational initiatives and the associated changes - Ensure execution and follow-up of succession plans and diversity plans for Manager bench strength
- Guide and support the development and coaching of high potential individual contributors within client groups
- Ensure that Managers are knowledgeable in employee relations, employee development, legal issues and other talent management issues through support of training programs and coaching sessions to improve employee life cycle
- Educate and consult with clients on compensation practices including salary ranges, performance review processes, performance rating process and promotions
- Support and maintain company business standards and compliance of company policy
- Maintain confidential business and employee information
Ensures legal compliance and consistency regarding HR issues within client groups - Executes quality results for HR projects as assigned
Required Skills: - 3-5 years of applicable HR experience and/or management experience in a retail environment
- Proven ability to enable business to drive results through top HR practices
- Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on building partnerships, managing conflict and leading others through organizational transformation
- A proactive approach to finding, selecting and retaining top talent
- Ability to create and nurture an environment where communication flows upward and downward appropriately. Experience successfully communicating verbal and written messages
- Demonstrated change and learning agility
- Ability to coach and develop employees to set clear expectations and drive accountability to achieve goals
- Solid planning, decisionmaking and analytical skills as well as the ability to take a proactive approach to problem solving
- An appreciation and respect for the diversity of all individuals in the workplace
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, or related field or equivalent experience
