Project Manager Facility: CCHCS - Corporate - Brighton, Brighton MA Department: Quality and Safety - Full-time - 40 hrs/wk, Mon - Fri, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm - Day shift
Job Description:
The corporate quality and safety project manager will be responsible for the following duties and responsibilities: Supporting the system-wide quality and safely plan/strategy and implementing the plan in a timely manner and on budget achieving the milestone goals for specific quality and safety initiatives. Leading system collaboratives as the project manager. Initializing project plan, setting goals for teams, recruiting hospital participation as specified by the quality and safety collaborative model plan. Provide technical support to the system hospitals and entities on analysis and interpretation of core measure sets. Standardize for all the system hospitals a process for insuring data submitted for public reporting is accurate, consistent and timely. Support system hospitals in improvement strategies by coordinating hospital process to improve targeted areas when system goals are not met by insuring the model for improvement is active and successful. Acts as a liaison to hospitals to coordinate hospital specific improvement teams. Provide over-site in the implementation of improved systems for tracking, evaluating, and communicating patterns in patient safety for all CCHC hospitals. Support the collection of patient safety data for trends and recommend changes, as appropriate, thereby improving the safety of care at the hospital.
Qualifications:
BS or MS in health care field. 5-10 years experience in a senior clinical leader position with a strong foundation in quality and patient safety. Highly motivational communication skills accompanied by the ability to analyze and present data to influence behavior, stimulate innovation, promote best practices, and drive organizational change. Excellent presentation style, including the ability to present data to clinicians and staff at all levels of the organization. A highly skilled change agent with demonstrable sensitivity to the interpersonal, group dynamic, organizational, political, and perceptual issues associated with change. Results orientation accompanied by the skill set required to conceptualize, implement, and operationalize a user-friendly clinical excellence and patient safety program. Demonstrated ability to create and sustain momentum through relationship building, and collaborative management.
