As a multi facility manufacturing company with an opening for a Process Quality Supervisor in the Lehigh Valley, PA area, we serve various industries and are known as the top contender in our field in the global marketplace. We continue to expand and grow.
We are seeking Hands-on Process Quality Supervisor to join our growing team.
Responsibilities include:
-Upholding the procedures on the floor and the integrity of the quality process, ensuring that issues are correctly addressed and proper procedures reinstated.
-Supporting customer requirements by documenting and resolving quality issues
-Brainstorming and the implementation of true process improvement
-Ensuring daily/weekly commitments are met
With your commitment to quality and your knowledge of production you will proactively keep the process moving with your very hands-on approach. You will know at all times where the production process stands and make certain that the quality is built into the product throughout the process.
Requirements:
-Must have production/manufacturing experienced coupled with quality experience
-3-5 years of quality and manufacturing experience from a small to midsized company
-Must be committed to working scheduled 10+ hour days
-Ability to proactively support quality
-Excellent verbal and written communications skills
-Proven track record of taking a hands on approach, not an overseer
-Intermediate computer skills
-Energetic
-Degree in Mechanical Engineering preferred or related technical background or industry experience
-Metallurgy, castings or metalworking experience helpful
-Knowledge of statistical software helpful
