The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for maintaining current customer accounts as well as prospecting new customers while maintaining the highest levels of customer service in the industry. Continually expand product and industry knowledge are essential, along with consistently demonstrating a high level of order accuracy and entrepreneurial spirit in territorial growth and management are also required.

Primary Position Responsibilities:
* Provide excellent customer service
* Make an average of 30+ outgoing/incoming sales calls daily
* Process customer orders and complaints
* Open and set up new customer accounts
* Keep records of all calls, customer notes and report activity in systems
* Prepare and review call activity plans regularly with supervisor/manager
* Continually update and enhance knowledge about BHI & Heel products, services, literature, sales programs, collateral materials and sales/marketing plan
* Help support other team members
* Meet quota projection for sales calls (team and individual goals)
* Reinforce department and company policies to promote and support positive work environment

Other Responsibilities:
* Process mail-in and fax orders
* Complete phone log daily for outgoing and incoming calls
* Represent Heel/BHI at trade and educational events as needed
* Assist in releasing backordered products
* Maintain and continually update customer base
* Check order header, edit list daily
* Assist in processing returns
* Attend sales training meetings and other mandatory functions
* Evaluate and qualify customers on a regular basis in accordance with guidelines and parameters set by supervisor/manager.
* Compare sales per customers to previous year's period
* Follow-up on all complaints within 5 days of complaint
* Maintain order accuracy rate of 98% or better
* Perform other duties assigned by management

Skills:
* College degree in business area with a minimum 2 years sales experience (inside and/or outside)
* Bi-lingual (English/Spanish)
* Strong organizational, presentation and communication skills
* Intermediate to advanced knowledge in a Windows based environment
* Excellent telephone customer relation skills
* Willing and able to immediately adapt to changes in policies and procedures
* Sales experience over the phone
* Strong analytical skills, detail oriented and team player
* Able to interact with all levels of employees and speakers in a professional manner
* Able to motivate, train, and coach individuals and group
