Responsible for the integrity of the electronic medical record as it pertains to the preparation/scanning and indexing of medical record documents. Responsible for ensuring staffing levels are adequate to perform the preparation/scanning, indexing and quality control of all work. Ensures quality control procedures are performed on all documents and provides timely feedback. Works with DFCI departments and off site locations to implement plans for moving paper documents to electronic. Manages a high production environment. Ability to maintain workflow with maximum efficiency. Ability to develop, motivate and support work teams. Facilitates team building and change management. Ability to implement and manage use of technology applications to ensure data collection, storage, analysis and reporting of information. Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines. Implements and manages projects to achieve goals.

Skills:
Bachelors Degree Preferred. Five Years supervisory or managerial experience in a healthcare, production, or business setting. Advanced knowledge of electronic records procedures including preparation of documents, scanning and quality control preferred.. Strong PC skills required. Working knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office, Excel, Word.
