Bronx-based hollow metal / kalamein door manufacturing company seeks an experienced service technician to run a service / installation crew. Ideal technician should have at least 3-4 years of installation experience. Responsibilities include installation of doors and frames, hinges, locks, and closers, and other door hardware/accessories in commercial environment. Locksmith experience is a plus. A clean NY or NJ license is required. Duties also include measuring jobs, identifying door problems, callbacks on prior installations, and other customer service needs.
The types of doors to be installed include apartment entrance doors, roof doors, fire exit doors, stairway doors, boiler room, and basement doors.
Technician must be:
Highly skilled and have experience with hand and power tools.
Dependable, arriving to work on time every day.
Motivated, willing to work overtime if required.
Committed, making sure that product operates to the customers satisfaction no matter what it takes.
Hard working.
