Job Responsibilities:
1) Sell custom software development in Microsoft, IBM and Java Technologies primarily in the Dallas metro area
2) Initiate new relationships or leverage existing relationships with key IT and business-level decision makers and significant influences within the sales buying cycle
3) Analyze customers’ business and technical environment to identify opportunities for the company, then engage its "A" team once opportunities are qualified
4) Remain the quarterback of the account throughout the life of the client
Job Requirements:
1) Bachelor’s Degree, MBA or Master’s Degree is a plus
2) A hunter mentality
3) Strong customer base in the Dallas area and comfortability with carrying a $2M quota the first year
4) Experience in selling complex business integration-focused solutions to the enterprise
5) Understanding of the business integration competitive landscape and key players
6) Understanding of business integration, web services, SOA, BPM as it pertains to business and IT value
7) Solid understanding of the software development process
8) Proven ability to articulate how current technologies are deployed to solve business challenges
9) Proven track record of solution based selling services at the CXO, EVP, SVP level inside large and mid-sized corporations
10) Experience in selling portal solutions as well as custom software development solutions in Microsoft, IBM, and Java technologies
11) 3+ years experience in selling complex IT services solutions in a top tier professional services firm or within an organization with a large services division
12) Excellent verbal and written communication skills
13) Desire to collaborate in a team environment
14) Demonstrated adaptability to dynamic environment
15) High-energy, self-motivated, strong work ethic and proactive
16) Proven track record meeting and exceeding services quota
17) Well networked in the IT/business community in the Dallas area among global 2000 and 3000 companies
18) Ability to use various software programs to produce proposals, reports, presentations, spreadsheets, SOWs, etc. (MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
19) Recent direct experience selling Microsoft, IBM or Java services and solutions
20) Immediate or near-term ability to bring client base
21) Relationships with Microsoft and/or IBM management and field teams
