Senior Oracle Developer

Location: Scottsdale, AZ
Duration: 4 months Contract to Perm

Description:
- Design, develop, maintain program code using Oracle Developer Suite and PL/SQL.
- Responsible for designing, developing, modifying, and evaluating programs for internal functional areas including finance, human resources, and marketing.
- Analyzes existing programs or formulates logic for new systems, devises logic procedures, prepares flowcharting, performs coding, and tests/debugs programs.
- Develops conversion and system implementation plans.
- Prepares and obtains approval of system and programming documentation.
- Recommends changes in development, maintenance, and system standards.
- Trains users in conversion and implementation of system.

Required Skills:
Minimum Requirements:
- 4+ years of Oracle database concepts, and PL/SQL.
- 4+ years of UNIX environment.
- 4+ years of Oracle Developer 10g Client Server and Web Deployed Forms and Reports.
- 4+ years with Oracle 9i Database.
- Designer 10g.
- Excellent understanding of data models.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and multi-task to meet critical deliverable dates.
- Must strive for results.
Additional Knowledge & Skills:
- Excellent understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Strong analytical/problem solving experience to deal with complex business problems.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment and multi-task to meet critical deliverable dates.

Technical Skills:
- Strong experience with Oracle 9i database with ability to write complex SQL and PL/SQL is required.
- Strong experience with developing and maintaining 10g Oracle forms is required.
- Working experience with load-balanced and clustered server environment.
- Ability to interpret and understand database schemas to ensure database integrity.
- Working experience with Multi-tier environment involving Windows and UNIX servers.
- Experience with XML……Preferred.
- Experience with Oracle Designer……….Hot Skill.
Physical Requirements:
- General Office Demands.
Education:
- 4-year degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
