The San Francisco In-Home Supportive Services Public Authority, located in downtown San Francisco, has a current opening for a part-time Training Specialist (75% FTE).

Duties:
This position is under the general supervision of the Program Manager. It requires working closely and coordinating with the Senior Training Specialist on the day-to-day operations of the agency’s training program, teach a variety of home skills classes in Spanish and English and participate in the development and expansion of the training program. Primary tasks involve collaborating with the Senior Training Specialist in preparing training curriculum, continuing education workshops, preparing materials, registering students in the training program, maintaining student database and training files, following up student progress and distributing training surveys. This position is an integral part of a larger team that includes a Central Registry, On- Call Services and the Worker Training Program.


Skills:
Requirements:
(1) Ability to speak, read and write Spanish.
(2) Experience teaching home skills curriculum a plus.
(3) Experience working in the healthcare field such as a nursing home, home care agency, private home or social service agency.
(4) Experience conducting workshops and speaking before the public.
(5) Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
(6) Able to work independently as well as in team setting.
