Job Description:

Objective:

Provide strong analytical skills to assist the organization in implementation of systems and processes to make informed financial decisions. Take part in the analysis, specifications, testing, implementation, configuration and maintenance of system functionalities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

This is a full time position. To be successful in this position, an individual must be able to perform each essential task satisfactorily.

Include the following, other duties and special projects may be assigned:
• Liaison with corporate, regional and branch management and users for financial and/or operational functionality and/or reporting requirements
• Specification writing, testing and implementation of customized functionality and reports on SAP or other systems with financial impact
• Participate in development (functional), testing and implementation of interfaces and transmissions to/from SAP system
• Configuration and support for SAP modules: FI/CO/AA/FSCM
• Transports and table maintenance as necessary
• Report writer, LSMW and ABAP query writing as well as table query execution
• Coordination and documentation of process SOPs for internal audit purposes
• Assist with month-end Access database maintenance and reporting
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing as well as internal and external audits as regards any reporting or maintenance on SAP
• Participation in operations systems and SAP systems implementations, upgrades and testing
• Participation in system reconciliations, variance reporting and resolutions

QUALIFICATIONS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

EXPERIENCE:
• 1-3 years of professional experience in areas of accounting or finance
• 3-5 years of professional experience with SAP (minimum 1 year from a systems perspective)


KNOWLEDGE/EDUCATION:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/Finance.
• Microsoft Office tools proficiency with mastery of Access and Excel
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong written and oral communication skills required, and candidate must be a dedicated team player.
• SAP Report writer, ABAP Query and LSMW experience a plus

SPECIAL EMPLOYMENT CONSIDERATIONS:

• Some travel may be required

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

• Office environment with little or no exposure to the elements
