DUTIES: You will be responsible for: (1) Proving STRONG Java development skills with a focus on backend and middle tier development, as well as data structures, algorithms, core java libraries and their implementation details.

REQUIRED:

5 years STRONG CORE JAVA backend and middle tier programming and software engineering to include:

Strong experience developing backend objects like servlets, database access, etc.

Strong experience in multi-threading and backend batch application development.

Strong object-oriented analysis and programming skills including UML and design patterns and application development tools, XML, JUnit, ANT, etc.

A background building high-performance Java systems and performance tuning.

Experience with enhancements and defect resolution.

Experience performing code reviews and issue resolution.

Experience with Rational tools – Clearcase, Clearquest and RUP.

Experience in the full software lifecycle, from design through deployment and support.

Good communication skills, outgoing personality and ability to work in a team environment.

Ability to work under strict timelines.

Ability to work individually and mentor less experiences developers.
