Position Details
Staff Network Engineer/Architect will support architectural development for a large program. As a member of the network architecture and development team, this person will be responsible for all phases of experimentation including capturing architectural concepts, articulating evaluation approach, validation of test environment, detailed test plan definition and execution, instrumentation and data collection methods, data synthesis and analysis, and presentation of findings via technical reports and briefings. Scope of experiments include verification and validation of architectural elements including Network Management, Information Assurance, IPSEC, Fixed and Mobile Routing, QoS, and Network SLAs.

Qualifications
Bachelors Degree is required.
10 years of experience is required.
solid technical background in Network Architecture Development and in-depth experience in Network Management; a well-founded understanding in architectural design methodology including the ability to transform Network Architecture into a set of network design requirements; experience with network modeling, simulation, test bed development and network deployments. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
