Position Details
Our client is seeking talented and qualified Bridge Engineers with 21-30 years experience. They must have experience with Bridge Design. They must be degreed engineers, prefer BS/MS Civil or Structural Engineering. Bridge Design position encompasses general structural design for highway and railroad bridges, culverts, retaining walls, cofferdams, cut-and-cover subway stations, aerial guide ways, maintenance facilities for rail and bus systems, etc. Assist with field inspections and other miscellaneous engineering support. Position requires strong knowledge of structural behavior, ability to apply the theoretical knowledge, finite element modeling, various bridge analysis and design software programs, and Microstation/AutoCAD.

Qualifications
BS Degree engineering, prefer BS/MS Civil or Structural Engineering
Bridge Engineers with 21-30 years experience
Successful candidate will have no less than 3-5 years experience with any one employer over the past 10 years.
Successful candidate will have DOT experience within the past 10 years but not current employer. Successful candidate will have no less than 3-5 years experience with any one employer over the past 10 years. No consultants or former consultants please. These positions include Department Management and Functional Director level.
Experience managing all or part of a major bridge design project, including technical design, scheduling and project oversight is essential in this role.
