Position Details
The chosen candidate will be responsible for scoping ESR baseline and mandatory study for stage gate and operations.
ESR Work required for baseline and mandatory.
Management of ESR contracts for Hope Bay.
Works with Manager Permitting and Land Tenure on the development of Environmental Assessment documents.
Responsible for collection of regulatory reporting details, which are collected by contractors, and required by licenses, permits and agreements.
Works with Senior Environmental Coordinator to meet regulatory reporting requirements.
Works with Manager Community and External Affairs on issues related to consulting services required for baseline of monitoring
Act for Director of ESR

BEST INDUSTRY – Manufacturing/Mining
BEST DEPARTMENT – Environmental Management


Qualifications
Masters Degree in Environmental, Social or Geological Sciences, or related field.
7+ years experience in Environmental Management
Prefer previous experience to be associated with mining or mineral extraction.
Arctic experiences an asset.
