Position Details
Has broad latitude for independent judgment, actions, and decisions.
Employ advanced knowledge, findings, techniques and experience to locate mineral deposits and determine their characteristics.
Provide advanced geologic technical review, guidance and support to programs designed to discover, develop, evaluate or mine gold deposits worldwide.
Must comply with regulatory health and safety regulations, company policies and procedures and the Company's environmental compliance policy.
Demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and the environment and the ability to work safely on a daily basis.

BEST DEPARTMENT - Engineering, Mining Engineer, Project Engineer, Research & Development, Safety and/or Environmental


Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Geology- Preferably M.S. or PhD in Geophysics
12 years or more of industry experience in a mining or exploration environment, at least 5 of which are engaged in R&D.
Candidate must possess effective verbal and written communication skills for presentations to site management, executive management, market analysts and outside parties.
