As part of the customer service support team, you will assist the Claims Department in the following areas; set up of new claim losses, obtaining loss details from external parties, customer service via phone, dispatch and rental assignments, completing and mailing out correspondence to external customers and check processing. You will also be responsible for any other support function that is deemed necessary.

• Take live reports of claims over phone from insureds, claimants and agents
• Thoroughly explain the claim process
• Determine type of claim and assign to appropriate adjuster
• Identify coverage issues
• Document injuries and assign to the appropriate unit
• Identify possible fraud indicators
• Discuss coverage’s and deductibles
• Interact with internal and external customers
• Dispatch appraisal assignments, if necessary
• Contact insured’s via telephone on the same day a report of claim is made via fax or mail
• Send correspondence to insureds and agents and order police reports
• Complete injury indexing on warranted claims
• Process all claim vendor payment requests
• AIB (Auto Insurance Bureau) error corrections

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Proficient personal computer skills including Microsoft Suite, electronic mail, record keeping, routine database activity, word processing, spreadsheet, graphics, etc. The Plymouth Rock companies place a heavy emphasis upon quality of life and “goodness of fit”.
