Woodside Electronics Corp is seeking a field service technician to primarily service BerryTek blueberry color sorters. The position involves installing new systems at in-plant installations and ensuring they work properly as the season begins. During the season, technicians provide training to plant personnel on proper usage of systems, provide pro-active service and setting changes and are on-call for emergency service. After the season, technicians are responsible for refurbishment of systems and proper storage.

The position is customer facing and a qualified individual must be able to interact effectively with existing and potential customers in a manner that is positive and confident. The position may require attendance at trade shows and sales calls in the off season, as well as spending time at WECO’s main facility in California to assist with refurbishment and new production.

The position requires extensive travel. There are BerryTek units in Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, North Carolina, New Jersey, Indiana, Michigan, California, Oregon, Washington, British Columbia, and Chile, South America. The position would primarily be responsible for the Southern US and Midwest but travel to the West Coast and internationally may also be required. The East Coast and Midwest season runs from approximately March through September.
