Job Description :
The R&D Manager will be setting up the scientific team and manage the day-to-day operations. He/She will be responsible of planning, organizing and managing the successful development of monoclonal antibody portfolio, as well as leading assay development activities. The candidate should be able to work efficiently and productivity while undertaking multiple projects.

Duties include:

- New Immunization protocols design, antibody screening optimization, protein expression/purification/characterization and assay development.

- Develop and adhere to key operational metrics.
- Actively participate in program audit process (internal/external) as necessary to ensure quality compliance.
- Oversee regulatory compliance including permits for the Ascites Production facility.
- Management of QC and Production Procedures.
- Manage resources and appropriate training of all employees.
- Develop strategic relationship with related academies, universities, both in China and overseas.

Skills:
Experience :
The preferred candidate will have a Ph.D in Immunology/Biochemistry.

More than 5 years of relevant work experience required. The candidate must be familiar with the management of Scientific teams. Overseas studies or R&D experience abroad will be an advantage.

Strong leadership qualities. Ability to communicate effectively, guide, direct, and coordinate 20 or more employees. As the size of the group increases, the selected candidate should be able to create an employee. Empowered work environment that is stimulating and rewarding. The candidate must have the capability of handling multiple projects and demonstrate the ability to set priorities. Fluent English, Mandarin Chinese, with excellent communication skills, is required. Position will be based in China.
