Job Details: Clinical Staff Pharmacist needed to provide Pharmaceutical Care to achieve improved outcomes and quality of life for patients of all ages.

Position will be approximately 50% Clinical Staff activities and 50% Investigational Drug activities.

Will be responsible for developing and establishing an investigational drug service within the Pharmacy department.

Increased clinical involvement in a decentralized environment with traditional medication distributive activities.

Must have prior experience with investigational drug services and hospital pharmacy.

Must possess skills to interpret medication orders and review them for safety and effectiveness.

Will dispense medication according to state and federal law and accepted standards of care.

Will make rounds to patient area to ensure the quality of patient care.

Must be able to communicate and interact with professional and non-professional staff.

Will supervise other pharmacy staff.

Bachelor's degree or PharmD from an accredited school of Pharmacy required.

Must have current licensure for the State of Virginia or eligible.

Good communication skills, math skills, and attention to detail.

Hours: Day/Evening Shift; Every 3rd weekend.
